On Season 4 Episode 9 of the Think Like A Founder podcast, Maureen Taylor speaks with Jesse Cotari and Peretz Partensky

On Season 4 Episode 9 of the Think Like A Founder podcast, Maureen Taylor speaks with Jesse Cotari and Peretz Partensky.

Jesse is the Chief Scientific Officer and Founder of ImmuneBridge and Peretz is its CEO. ImmuneBridge is an early-stage biotech company developing allogeneic immunotherapies for cancer.

Before founding ImmuneBridge, Jesse was the Director of Analytics at Transfusion Health. He holds a Ph.D. in Immunology and Computational Biology from Cornell University. Also prior to ImmuneBridge, Peretz co-founded Cheetah Technologies, connecting restaurants and suppliers through an app with next day delivery, and Sourcery, a smarter AP and AR automation solution built specifically for restaurants and the accounting firms that support them. He has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from UC San Francisco.

I really never thought of myself as a founder type and we had this discussion about taking ownership for not just the, the company, but the struggles in ourselves. And Peretz said, ‘Look, you are a founder, act like a founder.’
— Jesse Cotari
You have the mindset that I’m going to do it. And I’m going to figure out in the process and there isn’t like a playbook for how to do it. And I think some of the elements of, you know, “founderness” are being willing to walk out on thin ice and start to figure it out along the way [without being reckless].
— Peretz Partensky

On this episode of the Think Like a Founder podcast, SNP’s Co-Founder & CEO, Maureen Taylor gets Jesse’s and Peretz’s thoughts on…

  1. Taking ownership

  2. Being an outsider

  3. How life is practice for life
